If your looking for another option for breakfast in the morning try my husbands creation that we like to call the 4th of July Smoothie! Not only is it rich in vitamins and is a good source of protein this starts your day with an assortment of delicious fruits giving plenty of antioxidants 🙂 Whether your looking for a recovery drink after your workout or one to help with weight loss this is a go to drink that’s easy to make!
He just throws all the ingredients in the blender at once including 1 banana, 4 frozen strawberries, 20 frozen blueberries (yes he counts all of them lol), 6 large spoonful’s of vanilla yogurt and about 8 ounces of water. Then push the smoothie button until it blends to a smooth consistency. You can see how we came up with the name, this picture looks like the 4th of July with the different colors of fruit! 🙂
Then serve in a nice tall glass! You can make it the morning of, but we usually make his up the night before and wrap it up with plastic wrap. The next morning he takes it out of the fridge stirs the mixture and enjoys this delicious drink 🙂 Hope you enjoy his brilliant creation! Let us know if you try it 🙂
